SIS office is located at Minbhawan, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. SIS is governed by executive board elected by general assembly once in every three years. The main task of the board is to formulate policies and visioning of the organization. SIS management prepares its annual programme and budget and submits it to the board for approval. It is therefore the responsibility of the management to effectively implement the approved programmes and projects in line with SIS approach. It also coordinates, monitors and evaluates the programmes and implements the project as per local needs and demand. SIS maintains only a small core group of permanent staff.
